Do you want the freshest, cleanest, most wholesome, naturally raised table meat products from a pasture based, clean food producing family farm without having to drive 2 hours? Welcome to the McDonald Farm Connection, where we go out of our way so you don't have to go out of yours. Just email us with your interest and the name of your city or town, and we'll put you on the list for the closest farm connection to your home. It is a real joy to meet and greet and hang out with the folks that come to the deliveries as we get to know you better, and you get to know other folks in your area that have logged on the the fact that clean food is the only kind of food to eat. Below is a better description of how we do what we do and we look forward to your emails, orders and the opportunity to meet you in person. McDonald Farm sells 50 products from our clean food farm. The 'Big Six", chicken, beef, lamb, turkey, pork and eggs are all grown to our protocol of Restorative Agricultural practices to produce Clean Food. We have established Farm Connections in Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca and New York City. How this works is we actively seek customers who would like to buy our products direct from us. Next, we find a location to park the reefer truck for 2 hours in YOUR TOWN. Then we set a date and time for delivery. You simply email back your order from the updated price list we send out each week. We pack and price your order and then we meet at the designated location where the transaction is quick and convenient. That way, no one has to drive to the farm, and we don't have to drive to everybody's house. This has proven successful and we would like to continue to increase the number of families we can provide for from our farm raised products. We are also able to deliver to those unable to drive to our planned location. Let us know if there is a need in this area. It doesn't take many families to put this program together, and we really like to meet and greet our customers face to face. On Farm Purchases You can also come to the farm to purchase, but must realize that we are a working farm, and as such, drop-ins are generally never convenient. A simple call or email to set up the appointment is all that is necessary for us to accommodate you fully. We enjoy showing folks around the farm, so let us know when you would like to come and make sure you bring the kids. There's lots to see! Not Local? No Problem! We know a number of other farmers across the state and country who grow to the same clean food protocol as we do, and if they are closer to your location than we are, we can put you both together. The objective is to increase your ability to purchase clean, fresh and local foods while supporting your local clean food farmer to develop an ever more restorative and sustainable family farm.
